Sage Rossie-Tong (1998 -) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Whakaraupō, Banks Peninsula. Their practice weaves together and between diverse media and processes, including photography and sculpture.
Rossie-Tong’s early work has an auto-ethnographic nature. Transforming through this, their work is largely becoming concerned with sustainability, systems of power and modern consumption. With a diverse approach to making, Rossie- Tong looks to hold a mirror to contemporary issues, so as to see them in a new light.
